Paul Joe serves on the Board as President of Allied Energy Services, Inc. Independently, he is the President of Great American Petroleum Company, a West Virginia base crude oil and natural gas producer. He is also the President of ACME Land Company, a land holding company. Mr. Pitrolo formed Great American Petroleum in 1996 and subsequently purchased several oil wells from one of ALLIED's subsidiaries. These holdings are situated in Braxton and Gilmer Counties of West Virginia. Under his direction, Great American Petroleum Company has purchased additional wells in the area. His association with Allied continues because of his business acumen. Prior to his acquisition of the former ALLIED oil properties, Mr. Pitorlo held a General Motors Dealer Franchise in Fairmont, West Virginia. New GM products included Cadillac, Pontiac, GMC Trucks. The dealership also held franchises for Holmes Wreckers, Renault and Peugeot Automobiles . This franchise survives as a family owned business today and is known as Anthony Chevrolet-Cadillac of Fairmont, West Virginia. Mr. Pitorlo brings a great deal of business experience to the board of Allied Companies. His tenacity and ability to formulate solutions to business and operating problems comes from his military training as a Navy Anti-Submarine Pilot. At the rank of Lieutenant he was certified as a nuclear weapons officer and aircraft maintenance officer. He performed accurate landings aboard aircraft carriers. In addition to his military training, Paul graduated from GM Institute in Pontiac, Michigan with certifications in dealership management and the General Motors Practicum Program. In 1963 he graduated from Fairmont State University with a Masters Degree in Zoology, Biology and English with emphasis in Human Anatomy. Upon graduation he immediately joined the military.
